Job Summary
Lead and supervise the Hotel Housekeeping team during assigned shifts, ensuring guest rooms and facilities meet highest cleanliness and presentation standards. Observe team performance, coach associates, and provide ongoing feedback to support growth. Assist the Hotel Housekeeping Manager with daily administrative duties, implement operational standards and productivity goals, and support staffing decisions regarding hiring and promotions. Identify operational opportunities to recommend process improvements and jump in alongside the team during busy periods to maintain service levels. Ensure compliance with all housekeeping procedures, safety standards, and departmental policies.
Required Qualifications
- Previous Hotel Housekeeping Leadership experience
- At least 1 year of previous Hotel Housekeeping Leadership experience
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent guest service and hospitality experience
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced hotel environment
- Working knowledge of housekeeping equipment, cleaning machines, and maintenance procedures
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, their safe handling, storage, usage, hazard recognition, and disposal methods
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel (ability to maintain complex spreadsheets)
