Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Summary
Operate a variety of large construction equipment safely under Foreman direction (loaders, backhoes, track hoes, haul trucks, water trucks) and perform general labor tasks such as shoveling, sweeping, minor maintenance, and assisting with mechanical work to support heavy civil job site operations. Maintain compliance with safety regulations, complete required documentation (incident reports/site logs), and work outdoors in diverse weather. Requires three years of experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work well within a team; physical tasks include climbing into/out of equipment (>10 feet) and lifting up to 100 lbs with assistance. Emphasis on safety, teamwork, and ongoing opportunities for growth within a fast-paced, employee-owned company.
Required Qualifications
- Three years of experience performing similar key responsibilities
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a motor vehicle report in good standing
- Strong attention to safety and adherence to protocols
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Climbing into/out of equipment >10 feet on uneven terrain
- Vision 20/40 corrected
- Hearing corrected for safety warnings
- Awkward positions and heavy lifting up to 100 lbs with/without assistance
- Outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Experience in heavy civil construction environment
- Compliance with safety regulations and site documentation like incident reports/site logs
