Job Summary
Train other autobody technicians and perform extensive bodywork on multiple panels, including heavy plastic welding, metal pulling, roof and rocker panel repair, and large area heavy bodywork with Bondo. This role requires a minimum of five years of professional automotive bodywork experience and the ability to physically operate vehicle equipment, lifting up to 60 pounds independently. You must possess a valid driver's license, pass an MVR check, and work in a fast-paced production environment with potential exposure to extreme weather. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs to ensure vehicles are delivered on time.
Required Qualifications
- minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience
- Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools
- must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- possess a valid driver's license
- subject to an Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check
- ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment
- ability to work in excessive weather conditions (heat/cold)
- Use of safety equipment that may include but not limited to face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments and equipment
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Must be able to work mandatory overtime based on our business needs
