Job Summary
Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid flushes, while performing comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify mechanical, electrical, or safety concerns. Utilize diagnostic equipment and technical manuals to troubleshoot automotive problems, ensuring all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and industry standards. Complete quality control checks and test drives to verify repairs, accurately prepare inspection records, and communicate service recommendations to sales and management. Collaborate with senior technicians and management to coordinate workflow, while maintaining a clean, safe work environment and adhering to OSHA regulations. Provide professional customer service by explaining repair recommendations and addressing inquiries promptly.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement of eighteen years
- An active and unrestricted driver's license
- Must be legally authorized to work within the United States while employed by Leeds West Groups
- Successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check and ability to maintain a clean driving record
- Strong sense of integrity

- Knowledge of the automotive industry
- Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures

- Proficiency in diagnostic tools and equipment, including scan tools, multimeters, and computerized diagnostic software, and Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI)
- Strong and clear understanding and knowledge of the proper use of shop equipment, tools, and fluids
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing automotive technologies, methods, and best practices
- Proficient in inventory and expense management
- Ability to thrive in a high-paced sales environment

- Ability to manage priorities, multitask, and complete objectives with minimal supervision
