Job Summary
As a garage door technician, travel in a company truck to customer homes in the Athens, GA area to diagnose garage door issues, repair doors and openers, and determine whether repairs or replacements are needed. Build and present quotes during the appointment, manage truck inventory and schedule, and use Service Titan to share estimates and invoices. Requires mechanical aptitude, hands-on use of hand and power tools, and strong customer service/sales skills; mentorship and ongoing training are available to support professional development. This role operates in a local, customer-facing capacity with a focus on safety, functionality, and performance of garage door systems.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience repairing or installing residential garage doors and motors
- Mechanical aptitude – knowledge and skill in using various hand and power tools
- Sales and customer service experience is highly preferred
- Team player with openness to feedback
