Job Summary
Experienced Garage Door Installer role in Detroit, MI. Install residential garage doors, replace worn parts, run wiring, educate customers on upgrades, document activities, and maintain equipment. Compensation includes hourly pay starting at $42 with potential to $47.25 per hour based on experience, plus a $10K sign-on option and a Phoenix training academy kickoff. Training期间 includes 4 weeks; company provides a company truck, tools, and benefits; weekly pay, medical/dental/vision/401K; and opportunities for internal promotion. Requirements include physical ability to lift 75 lbs,Valid driver's license, pre-employment drug test and background check, and basic software/navigation skills.
Required Qualifications
- Be nice
- Able to bend, climb, kneel and stand for long periods
- Physically able to lift 75lbs, and lift garage door panels above your head
- Able to stand on a ladder
- Expertise with power tools and hand tools
- Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test (not including THC) and criminal background check
- Knowledge of basic software such as navigation apps, Google etc as well as tablet and computer use
- 1+ years as experienced garage door installer required
- Professional appearance
- Employment requires current eligibility to legally work in the United States
