Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess physical capabilities and needs, then develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques. Regularly document patient progress, track outcomes, and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery. Educate patients, caregivers, and families about treatment protocols, home exercises, and the effective use of assistive devices to enhance patient independence. Stay abreast of advancements in physical therapy practices by participating in continuing education workshops and actively contribute to team meetings and case discussions.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- A valid Physical Therapy license to practice in the state of Florida
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in using electronic health records and practice management software
- Demonstrated flexibility and resilience in a clinical setting
Desired Qualifications
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy
