Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient assessments to recognize individual goals and needs, then manage a patient load of one individual per hour to deliver personalized orthopedic interventions. Design and implement cost-effective treatment plans that minimize pain, enhance mobility, and reduce medication reliance through non-surgical alternatives. Customize fitness and wellness programs aligned with rehabilitation goals while monitoring progress and adjusting care plans as necessary. Document treatments accurately in WebPT and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create comprehensive care plans. Engage patients through education and motivation techniques to promote healthy lifestyles, strength, flexibility, and coordination.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution
- Valid and unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Maryland with no disciplinary actions
- Strong foundational knowledge in manual therapy techniques
- Successful experience in orthopedic rehabilitation
- Proficiency in creating effective exercise and rehabilitation routines tailored to individual patient needs
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT
- Adeptness in utilizing WebPT for documentation

- Previous work experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting
