Job Summary
Perform all assigned floor maintenance tasks in a professional and timely manner, including stripping and waxing VCT tiles, burnishing with a high-speed machine, extracting carpets, and utilizing chemicals per policy. Operate equipment such as low-speed and high-speed scrubbers, carpet extractors, and wet/dry vacuums. Report safety hazards immediately and observe all safety precautions. Work independently with little supervision while maintaining a clean environment for tenants and visitors. This full-time role reports to the Project Manager and includes medical, dental, and vision insurance benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license or ID
- Birth certificate or passport
- Clean background (no felonies/no misdemeanor within past 10 years)
- Ability to strip/wax VCT tiles
- Ability to burnish floors with a High Speed
- Ability to extract and bonnet carpets
- Ability to operate Low speed Side by Side equipment
- Ability to operate High Speed Burnish equipment
- Ability to operate Carpet Extractor equipment
- Ability to operate Wet /Dry Vacuum equipment
- Ability to operate Drying Fan equipment
- Ability to operate Walk Behind scrubber equipment
- Ability to operate Ride on Scrubber equipment
- Ability to verbally describe how to accomplish specific tasks when interviewed
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Ability to report safety hazards when identified
- Ability to observe safety precautions at all times
