Job Summary
Assemble, install, service, troubleshoot, and repair custom and standard manufacturing equipment using hand and power tools, mills, lathes, and MIG/TIG welding. Read blueprints and schematics, organize parts kits, and deliver completed projects to customer facilities while safely operating service vehicles and truck-mounted cranes. Mentor less-experienced technicians, estimate job scopes, and manage teams to ensure safe, efficient project completion within established timelines. Maintain quality and safety standards in both the shop and field. Requires 5-7 years of fabrication or field service experience, forklift operation, and ability to lift 50+ pounds. Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM with Friday overtime as needed. Pay $30-$40/hour DOE.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of related experience in fabrication, industrial equipment, machining, or field service OR equivalent technical training
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience operating mills and lathes
- Experience with MIG and/or TIG welding
- Forklift operating experience
- Clean driving record and ability to operate company vehicles
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Local travel to customer facilities as needed
- Pre-employment drug screen, including marijuana
- At least 18 years of age
Desired Qualifications
- Industrial maintenance experience
- Manufacturing equipment installation and repair experience
- Experience operating truck-mounted cranes
- Leadership or mentoring experience
- Familiarity with custom machinery and automation equipment
