Job Summary
Engage with customers to assess technical needs and identify GF technical solutions for semiconductor IC product development. Assess the competitive landscape to advocate winning GF value propositions and partner internally with account managers and technical experts to create application-specific presentations. Work closely with the account management team to merge technical and commercial terms into design-winning proposals and resolve issues to convert designs into production-ready tapeouts. Perform activities adhering to Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements. Requires a Bachelor's or Master's in electrical engineering with 15 years of semiconductor industry experience, up to 20% travel primarily within Europe, and fluency in English.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in electrical engineering or equivalent (e.g. applied physics, etc)
- Minimum 15 yrs in semiconductor industry inc design and/or process
- Working knowledge of IC chip design flows and tools from architectural definition through performance characterization

Desired Qualifications
- PhD in electrical engineering or equivalent
- 5 yrs in semiconductor product design at the chip or module level
- Industrial and Automotive Segment Experience
- Direct experience in IC chip design flows and EDA tools from architectural definition through performance characterization
- Exposure/Experience in one or more of Digital / Analog Mixed Signal/HV Power/eNVM/Millimetre Wave/Silicon Photonics IC product design highly desirable
- SoC product integration/design experiences highly desirable
- Project management skills - i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong planning & organizational skills
