Job Summary
Build boat hulls, decks, and fiberglass parts by cleaning molds, taping them, mixing resin and hardener, and applying material with hand tools and spray equipment. Roll out air bubbles for a smooth finish, trim and repair parts, and check work against quality standards while maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Work Monday through Thursday from 5:00 AM to 3:45 PM in a temperature-controlled manufacturing plant, with overtime, evenings, and weekends available as needed. Lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the shift.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience with fiberglass lamination, gelcoat, or infusion
- Able to safely use hand tools, air tools, grinders, saws, and drills
- Pays close attention to detail
- Works well with others
- Can keep up in a fast-paced workplace
- Takes pride in doing quality work
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Stand, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the day
- Get in and out of boats during your shift
- Work on your feet for up to 10 hours
- Safety equipment, including protective clothing and masks, is required
