Job Summary
Conduct discovery processes by drafting requests, responses, subpoenas, and motions while following up with clients for materials. Prepare case documents, motion exhibits, and trial notebooks; maintain accurate billing and ensure filings in State and Federal Courts. Assist attorneys with legal research and electronic database management, and coordinate with legal assistants to calendar hearings. Manage deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced family law environment requiring high execution standards and client communication.
Required Qualifications
- Experienced in family law and/or civil litigation, including trial preparation
- Organized, responsive, and detail-driven
- Able to manage deadlines and priorities without heavy supervision
- Comfortable with high standards, fast execution, and clear expectations
- Professional with clients, attorneys, court staff, and opposing counsel
- Motivated by results, service, and continuous improvement
- Confident, polished English communication
- Fluent in the operational tools that keep a legal practice moving efficiently
- Reliable, adaptable, and calm in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to handle whatever the role requires, from substantive legal support to administrative execution
