Job Summary
Conduct sewer crew functions including mainline and lateral work in congested areas, dirt moving, and interpreting grade stakes. Inspect and maintain equipment while coordinating with crew and management. Comply with the Company Safety Program, organize project details, locate objectives, and communicate discrepancies. Plan ahead and demonstrate cognitive awareness of job tasks. Maintain regular attendance and overtime at assigned job sites in Waterloo Region, with weekend availability for continuous year-round work.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to travel to the Waterloo Region
- Regular, consistent attendance and regular overtime at all assigned job sites
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to communicate and take direction
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment
- Strong mechanical skills
- Ability to work cooperatively with others
- Physical strength and endurance to perform all principal duties and responsibilities
- Ability to recognize, communicate, and eliminate hazards
- Ability to work 10-14hours a day
- Weekend availability

- Knowledge and experience in a variety of applications
- Winter/Spring work for the right operators
- Working outdoors
