Experienced Engineer – Roads and Highways

Job Summary
Deliver road and highway design solutions across all project phases, preparing engineering designs, calculations, reports, and technical documentation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality and coordinated project outcomes while supporting project delivery to budget, programme, and quality requirements. Liaise with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders, and contribute to proposal preparation and business development activities. Mentor and support graduate and junior engineers, maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and technical excellence. This role involves working closely with senior technical leaders to develop technical and project delivery capabilities on transport infrastructure projects throughout North Queensland.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- 4-6 years' experience in roads, highways and transport infrastructure projects
- Experience preparing designs, calculations and technical reports
- An understanding of Austroads, TMR and relevant Australian standards
- Experience working within multidisciplinary project environments
- A proactive and collaborative approach to project delivery
- Relocation to the region
