Experienced E-Commerce Product Manager (57883)
HybridDallas, Texas, United States
Job Summary
Own the end-to-end digital product lifecycle for A-MAX's online quote-to-bind platform, coordinating developers, designers, and carrier relations to optimize the digital insurance buying experience. Define quarterly OKRs, prioritize features based on revenue and customer impact, and manage sprint planning with a cross-functional team to ensure zero critical production regressions. Partner with UX designers to validate quote conversion rates through A/B testing and mobile-first design standards, while integrating AI tools like chatbots and recommendation engines to enhance the customer journey. Present biweekly KPI updates to leadership and serve as the primary liaison across Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of product management experience
- at least 2 years in digital eCommerce, InsurTech, FinTech, or a regulated digital industry
- Proven track record of owning a product from concept through launch and iteration
- Deep familiarity with agile/scrum methodologies — you've run sprints, not just attended them
- Strong analytical skills — comfortable with funnel metrics, conversion rates, A/B test results, and EBITDA-level business cases
- Experience working with development teams on front-end and back-end features
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Insurance or InsurTech experience — understanding of auto insurance quoting, binding, policy servicing, carrier relationships, or compliance
- Hands-on experience with AI tools in a product context — LLM integrations, AI-assisted customer journeys, predictive analytics, or chatbot implementations
- CMS platform expertise — AEM (Adobe Experience Manager), Contentstack, Webflow, or equivalent
- UI/UX design sensibility — ability to critique wireframes, write design briefs, and collaborate closely with designers without needing to design yourself
- Experience with non-standard or specialty insurance markets (SR-22, high-risk auto) is a significant plus
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus given our customer base
- Technical Fluency (you don't need to code, but you should speak the language)
- REST APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations
- Web analytics platforms — GA4, Heap, Mixpanel, or similar
- Data visualization tools — Power BI, Tableau
- Project management tools — Jira, Asana, Linear, or similar
- A/B testing platforms — Optimizely, VWO, or similar
