Job Summary
Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients with varying functional limitations, developing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual needs. Implement and adjust treatment protocols based on ongoing evaluations, adapting plans as necessary to align with patient progress. Document all patient interactions, evaluations, and treatment plans promptly and accurately, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Engage in interdisciplinary communication to modify care plans in response to changes in patient condition and participate in discharge planning with necessary education. Stay current with industry trends through staff meetings and professional development opportunities. This role is onsite at our outpatient facility in Cypress, Florida, with a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- Current, valid physical therapy license for the state of Florida
- Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with patients
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess patient needs and develop effective treatment strategies
- Current CPR certification
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy role, preferably in an outpatient setting
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and documentation practices
- Familiarity with contemporary treatment modalities and physical therapy techniques
