Job Summary
Experienced Diesel Trailer Mechanic in Hutchins, TX. Repair heavy truck and trailer (semi-class 8), perform preventative maintenance, diagnose electrical and HVAC issues, and conduct tire maintenance. On-the-job paid training with OEM training from Freightliner, International, Volvo, Cummins, and more. Includes overtime pay, quarterly bonuses, paid time off, holidays, 401K with company matching, health benefits, and stock purchase options. Must have 2+ years diesel mechanic experience, valid driver's license, and ability to read repair manuals; CDL may be required for test drives. Strong teamwork, customer service, and computer skills preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ Years of Hands-On Diesel Mechanic Experience
- Valid Drivers License
- Comprehensive background check
- Pre-Employment Hair Drug Screen (Marijuana is a disqualification of employment)
- High School or equivalent
- Experience with on-the-job training
- Diploma in vehicle maintenance from vocational or trade school a plus
- Possess customer service & computer skills
- Ability to read & understand repair manuals
- Ability to multitask & work as a team
- Must possess the tools required to accomplish the essential job results required
