Job Summary
Diagnose malfunctions, perform repairs, and execute preventative maintenance on medium and heavy-duty trucks. Complete repair orders efficiently while communicating with the parts department and service advisors. Document all work performed and recommended actions on the repair order. Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts. Communicate with the service advisor on repair updates and/or delays. Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order. Adhere to federal, state, and local regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal and OSHA compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Heavy-duty truck repair experience and/or training
- Experience with Mack, Volvo, Isuzu, Cummins heavy-duty trucks and engines
- Basic computer skills
- Valid CDL
Desired Qualifications
- ASE Certification a plus
- Personal tools. Basic Hand Tools
