Experienced Design Engineer - Land Development - Austin

Job Summary

Contribute to land and site development projects, including grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway design. Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and reports with support from senior staff while coordinating with internal team members, subconsultants, and permitting agencies. Assist in preparing submittals and responding to review comments from municipalities and stakeholders. Attend internal and external project meetings with clients and regulatory agencies. Support the mentoring of junior engineers and CAD designers as needed. Work under the supervision of a licensed engineer with the opportunity to advance toward licensure.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program
  • 2–5 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in land or site development
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required
  • Actively pursuing Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the state of Texas
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Familiar with local (Texas) development standards
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
