Job Summary
Communicate with customers, shippers, and carriers regarding orders and daily operations while processing customer orders in SAP, D365, NetSuite, or WMS systems. Create and manage daily load schedules, bills of lading, pick lists, and purchase orders, verifying documentation before releasing drivers. Work in an industrial chemical plant environment following all safety procedures, red-tagging railcars if necessary, and overseeing loader sample collection. Monitor shipment receipts, perform warehouse transfers, reconcile inventory, and investigate discrepancies. Schedule motor carriers and inbound truck appointments, ensuring driver compliance in required systems. Collaborate with internal teams to support smooth operations, cross-train within the department, and complete daily reports. Requires prior experience in a chemical plant or industrial setting, SAP proficiency, and fluent English.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a chemical plant, industrial or manufacturing work environment
- Must be proficient in SAP
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
- May require a valid Driver's License, depending on work location
- 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
- Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
- Wear all required PPE without restriction and pass any required medical exams
- Speak, write, read fluent English
- Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is required
Desired Qualifications
- Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.
