Experienced Construction Materials Technician

Mid-Level Construction Materials Technician sought to perform routine and complex sampling and testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry, and asphalt. Responsibilities include field concrete testing (slump, air content, temperature), field density tests of soils, preparing daily reports and electronic documentation, collaborating with project managers and senior technicians to ensure specifications, and assisting with training and mentoring of junior staff. Qualifications emphasize safety, plan reading, mathematical and technical aptitude, flexibility for extended hours, strong verbal and written communication, and certifications (State DOT, ICC, NICET) with 1+ years of CMT experience. Must have a High School diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, and ability to lift 75+ pounds; willingness to travel and work outdoors in varying conditions.
