Job Summary
Mid-Level Construction Materials Technician sought to perform routine and complex sampling and testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry, and asphalt. Responsibilities include field concrete testing (slump, air content, temperature), field density tests of soils, preparing daily reports and electronic documentation, collaborating with project managers and senior technicians to ensure specifications, and assisting with training and mentoring of junior staff. Qualifications emphasize safety, plan reading, mathematical and technical aptitude, flexibility for extended hours, strong verbal and written communication, and certifications (State DOT, ICC, NICET) with 1+ years of CMT experience. Must have a High School diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, and ability to lift 75+ pounds; willingness to travel and work outdoors in varying conditions. Required Qualifications

- 1+ years of construction materials testing experience

- The ability to lift 75+ pounds
- ACI Concrete Field-Testing Certification-required
- SB101 SB102-preferred
- Nicet Soils -preferred
- ICC-Soils-preferred
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- At times, this position may be working at or on uneven terrain, varying heights, in confined spaces, or supported trenches
