Job Summary
Experienced Construction Estimator to prepare detailed construction estimates by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and project requirements. Role involves utilizing Construct Connect and Bid Board to develop accurate cost projections, assisting in bid preparation, and presenting estimates. Requires reviewing contracts, change orders, and scope of work documents, negotiating pricing with vendors/subcontractors/clients, and maintaining knowledge of industry trends, materials pricing, and labor rates. Must interpret drawings and specifications accurately and apply cost control and project scheduling principles while contributing to proposal development and presentations of estimates.
Required Qualifications
- Must have estimating experience in the construction field
- Proficiency with Construct Connect, Bid Board, and other estimating or project management software
- Experience with contracts management and project management methodologies
- Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications accurately
- Experience in cost control and project scheduling
- Knowledge of construction management principles
- Ability to negotiate with vendors, subcontractors, and clients to secure pricing and terms
