Job Summary
Respond to scheduled and emergency commercial roofing service calls, assisting with locating, diagnosing, and repairing roof leaks across TPO, EPDM, PVC, and other systems. Perform repairs and preventive maintenance while inspecting flashing, penetrations, and drains; take before-and-after photographs to document completed work. Maintain company vehicles and tools, load/unload materials, and keep jobsites clean and safe. Communicate findings to the Service Foreman and interact professionally with customers and vendors. Follow OSHA requirements and report unsafe conditions immediately. Full-time position with overtime, occasional night or weekend work, and a $18-22/hr base pay.
Required Qualifications
- Previous commercial roofing service or repair experience
- Experience locating and repairing commercial roof leaks
- Familiarity with TPO, EPDM, metal roofing, flashing, coatings, and other commercial roofing materials
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a two-person service crew
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers and coworkers
- Ability to complete service reports and use a mobile device to submit photographs and job information
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 100 pounds
- Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and from aerial lifts
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, including no DUI or major violations within the last five years
- Willingness to complete a pre-employment drug screening
- Full time position with overtime as needed
- Occasional night or weekend work based on project needs
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 10 certification
- Aerial lift, forklift, or first-aid/CPR certification
