Job Summary
Climb trees to perform pruning, thinning, and removal of deadwood, including installation of cables, bracing, and lightning protection systems. Operate as an active crew member with ground support, safely removing hazardous trees and maintaining all equipment such as chainsaws and aerial lifts. Complete required orientation and safety courses upon hire. Work full-time with up to 25% travel, earning $24-$27 per hour. Required Qualifications
- Love of the outdoors
- Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire
- Ability to complete the Davey First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire

- Background in Forestry, Horticulture, Landscaping, or working at heights
- Relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law
