Job Summary
Conduct tree pruning, thinning, and hazardous tree removal while operating chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts safely. Install cables, bracing, and lightning protection systems as part of an active crew with ground support. Maintain all equipment and adhere to Davey's progressive greenspace stewardship standards. Complete required orientation, first aid, CPR, and defensive driving courses upon hire. Work full-time with up to 25% travel across major US locations. Required Qualifications
- Love of the outdoors
- Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire
- Ability to complete the Davey First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
- Travel Expectations: Up to 25%
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred: Background in Forestry, Horticulture, Landscaping, or working at heights
- Preferred: Relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law
