Job Summary
Experienced Classic Car Mechanic lead Foreman responsible for leading a team of automotive technicians specializing in classic car repairs and restorations. Diagnoses complex mechanical and electrical issues, including engines (gasoline and diesel), transmissions, and powertrains; conducts maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, suspension work, wheel alignments, and welding. Interprets schematics and technical manuals, assesses ADAS and automotive electrical systems, and ensures work complies with safety standards and dealership procedures. Requires 5+ years in classic/british car work, strong customer communication, English proficiency, and bringing your own tools. Full-time, on-site position in Mountain View, CA.
Required Qualifications
- 5 to 10 years minimum experience required in British and Classic car knowledge
- 5 years experience in auto mechanics (engine rebuilds, powertrain, etc)
- Lead Foreman experience or ability to mentor a team
- Must be able to diagnose issues across engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics
- English language proficiency
