Job Summary
Design water transmission, distribution, and treatment systems while managing project tasks, permitting, and construction coordination. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure plan quality, monitor budgets and schedules, and support project financials. Receive mentorship and formal training in plan production and client interactions. This role is based in Kimley-Horn's Akron, Ohio office and requires 3+ years of municipal wastewater engineering experience with proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant municipal wastewater engineering design experience
- Bachelors or Masters from an ABET accredited university in the field of Civil Engineering
- "Engineer-In-Training" or "Engineering Intern" certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
- Experience with designing pipelines, pump stations, and hydraulic modeling calculation
- Experience using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
