Job Summary
Prepare solar structural plans, specifications, and estimates for public and private projects across the US. Perform engineering tasks including general structural analysis using specialized software, while receiving mentorship and formal training in plan production, project financials, and client interactions. Collaborate as a critical team member to meet client deadlines with a strong sense of urgency and self-initiative. This role requires an Engineer-In-Training certification or the ability to obtain it within 12 months, along with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university. Required Qualifications
- 2+ years experience with a civil engineering design firm
- Bachelors or Masters from an ABET accredited university in the field of Civil Engineering
- "Engineer-In-Training" or "Engineering Intern" certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
- Experience utilizing software programs for general structural analysis
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
- Detail-oriented with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment
- Ability to work independently and as a team
