Conduct site development engineering and project management tasks for land development projects, including civil design, permitting, and bid package preparation. Utilize hydrology modeling programs, storm drainage software, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D to execute technical specifications and coordinate with staff. Manage project financials, cost estimating, and client interactions while receiving formal training and mentorship. This on-site role in Boca-Delray, Florida, requires 2+ years of experience and an EIT certification, with a focus on achieving client goals within a supportive, high-retention culture.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years experience with a civil engineering design firm
- Bachelors or Masters from an ABET accredited university in the field of Civil Engineering
- "Engineer-In-Training" or "Engineering Intern" certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
- Detail-oriented with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment
- Ability to work independently and as a team
