Job Summary
Join Augusta Tower Technologies as an Experienced Cell Tower Technician, specializing in the installation, repair, and maintenance of wireless telecom equipment on towers. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in tower climbing or telecom construction, strong problem-solving skills, and the physical stamina to work at heights exceeding 300 feet while handling up to 100 lbs of equipment. The position requires proficiency in rigging and antenna installation, familiarity with telecom infrastructure, and a safety-first approach, adhering strictly to OSHA standards. Extensive travel throughout the Midwest is required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in tower climbing or telecom construction
- Strong work ethic, attendance, and physical stamina
- Ability to work at heights of 300+ feet with 70+ lbs of gear
- Safety-first mindset and adherence to OSHA standards
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Midwest
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Comfortable working in a team-oriented, high-performance environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and climbing gear
- Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with the team
- Understanding of industry regulations and commitment to job-site safety
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently under challenging conditions
Desired Qualifications
- Valid safety certifications preferred (Paid renewals provided)
- CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 10/30 certifications (preferred but not required)
- Proficiency in rigging, tower erection, and antenna installation
- Familiarity with RF, fiber optics, and telecom infrastructure
