Job Summary
Drive OTR routes with U.S. Xpress on newer equipment averaging 18 months, averaging 2,000+ weekly miles. Maintain a clean driving record with no more than one preventable accident in the last two years and no DUI/DWI offenses in the past five years. Pass a DOT physical and drug test, ensuring no drug-related convictions or positive tests in the last decade. Earn trip pay ranging from $.45 to $.64 cpm based on dispatched miles and experience. Only three months of verifiable CDL-A experience is required.
Required Qualifications
- 3 months of verifiable CDL-A truck driving experience
- No more than 1 CMV on-road preventable accident in the last 2 years
- No major CMV preventable accidents in the last 5 years
- No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years
- No DUI/DWI within the past 5 years, or 10 years if the offense occurred while holding a CDL
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical and drug test
- No drug related conviction within the past 5 years, or 10 years if the offense occurred while holding a CDL
- No positive/refused tests in the past 10 years with CDL-A/CLP
- Not a SAP driver
