Job Summary
Conduct all assigned work adhering to safety, environmental, and contamination control policies while wearing proper personal protective equipment. Diagnose and perform designated repairs on customer or company-owned equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting, using a minimum set of tools to disassemble and assemble components to manufacturer specifications. Maintain tools, research repair needs, order parts, and complete required documentation utilizing appropriate software to track repair times. Attend and successfully complete required technician training classes, including the full curriculum to be designated a Tech III. Work in a neat, orderly fashion to improve methods and safety standards, assisting with facility appearance and shop conditions through housekeeping and general maintenance duties. Approach work with a positive, supportive manner, taking initiative to resolve issues without direction and making difficult decisions in timely, ambiguous situations.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- 1-5 years
- Completed all required training curriculum to be designated a Tech III
- Able to easily and effectively comprehend written material
- Able to communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers
