Experienced Carpenter – Historic Restoration

Restore historic windows, wood siding, exterior trim, structural framing, and architectural millwork by replicating period-appropriate details from original profiles or measured examples. Apply traditional joinery methods such as mortise and tenon, scarf joints, and wooden pegs where specifications require. Assess wood deterioration to determine the appropriate repair or replacement approach. Work alongside other specialty trades on multi-discipline historic restoration projects throughout the Midwest. This role offers $25–$45/hr with health, dental, and vision after 90 days, PTO, paid holidays, and travel per diem. You will contribute to a long-term career with a nationally recognized restoration company where your work stands on landmark buildings for the next 100 years.
