Job Summary
Experienced Caregiver role in Tyler, TX for East Texas seniors. Responsibilities include assisting with medications, mobility support, personal care and hygiene, routine exercises, meal planning and preparation with client input, light housekeeping, shopping assistance, and providing a pleasant, supportive companionship. Opportunities for advanced training in dementia or Alzheimer's care are available; multiple shift options (8/10/12 hour shifts, PRN) and benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, weekly pay, sign-on bonus, and continuing education.
Required Qualifications
- 2 Years Previous Caregiving Experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Vehicle with current Insurance
- Passion to serve others - a true caregiver
- Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid
- Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
- Respectful and compassionate
- Good time management skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ethics
- Physical endurance
- High school diploma or equivalent
