Job Summary
Provide personalized, one-on-one care for seniors with Alzheimer's, dementia, or cognitive impairments in their homes. Deliver cognitive support through gentle reminders and redirection, assist with personal care tasks like dressing and hygiene, and maintain home safety via basic cleaning and organization. Drive clients to appointments and run errands including grocery shopping while offering tailored companionship activities. Work 12-hour shifts in Longboat Key, FL, earning starting rates of $18.00 per hour. You must hold a CNA, HHA, or PCA certification, possess a valid driver's license with a fully insured vehicle, and provide TB clearance.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) Certification
- Valid driver's license
- Access to a fully insured personal vehicle
- TB Clearance or Chest X-Ray
- Eligible to work in the US
