Required Qualifications
- 6 to 12 months experience or successful completion of the Giant Eagle Apprenticeship program
- Satisfactory completion of job specific skills assessment
- Age at least 18 years
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to prepare and decorate bakery products and cakes
- Provide exemplary customer service and assist customers with product selection
- Maintain dates and condition of products and rotate stock
- Ability to take and fulfill special orders
- Ability to handle equipment safely (mixers, knives, icing tools)
