Job Summary
Manage purchasing for materials, supplies, and services while negotiating with domestic and international suppliers. Release and track purchase orders to ensure material flow, monitor supplier data to support production planning, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align documentation. Troubleshoot material or system issues quickly, analyze procurement data and trends, forecast material needs based on demand, and drive supply chain efficiency through process improvement. This role supports a global leader in advanced manufacturing in Necedah, WI, requiring a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of buyer experience. Full-time, direct hire position with a competitive salary range of $65,000 – $93,000/year.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience as a Buyer or in purchasing/procurement
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and Microsoft Office
- Understanding of MRP, inventory control, and vendor management
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred
