Job Summary
Experienced butcher/meat cutter role in Vikeså, Rogaland. Responsibilities include slaughtering livestock, meat cutting, trimming and portioning beef, lamb and pork; packing and preparing products for distribution; and maintaining hygiene, quality and food safety standards. Collaboration with the production team and adherence to company procedures. Requirements include prior butcher/meat cutter/slaughterhouse experience, ability to work with multiple animal species, good spoken English (Norwegian is a plus), and a trade certificate (Fagbrev) or relevant qualification preferred. EU/EEA passport or valid right to work in Europe is required. Full-time position with 07:00–15:00 hours; relocation support and accommodation discussions available. Possibility for permanent plus seasonal positions in a Norwegian meat production company.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a butcher, meat cutter or slaughterhouse worker
- Experience working with beef, lamb and pork
- Good spoken English
- EU / EEA passport or valid right to work in Europe
- Trade certificate (Fagbrev) or relevant qualification is preferred
