Job Summary
Drafting and design for bridges and transportation structures across multiple states using MicroStation InRoads OpenRoads Designer and AutoCAD 3D Civil; create elevations, sections, profiles, and detailing; manage project data and plan sets in ORD; read construction drawings; collaborate with engineers and project managers; ensure DOT standards compliance; read 3-D geometry; work independently with multiple tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree or equivalent technical degree
- 5+ years of bridge/transportation CAD experience
- Knowledge of DOT standards (Utah, Nevada, Washington, New Mexico, Arizona, Idaho)
- Be familiar with Open Roads Designer, Open Bridge Designer and/or AutoCAD 3D Civil
- Be familiar with ProjectWise
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings; ability to think 3-dimensionally
- Must be able to work independently with the ability to accomplish multiple tasks, with competing priorities
- Be a professional, creative, team-focused individual that works well with others in a team environment
