Job Summary
Perform connector terminations for shielded wires, coaxial cables, and fiber optic wiring while interpreting engineering drawings and technical orders to execute electrical modifications and repairs. Diagnose and correct malfunctions in aircraft electrical and communications/naval systems, utilizing tooling assemblies for depot-level wiring modifications and visual inspections of wire bundles and assemblies. Operate riding electric elevating equipment and forklifts to move materials, maintaining safety through lock-out/tag systems and hazardous energy protocols. This role supports Boeing Defense Space & Security's Executive Fleet production and maintenance processes in San Antonio, TX, requiring 9+ years of avionics experience and the ability to obtain U.S. Top Secret clearance.
Required Qualifications
- 9+ years of experience with maintenance of avionics and/or electronic equipment (Comm Nav, Data Links, Weapons, Radar, Electronic Warfare
- 9+ years of experience reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, material processes, schematics and diagrams
- 9+ years of experience with software, media and file command installation to operate newly installed systems
- 9+ years of experience with component and wire installation to include repairing, modifying, testing and troubleshooting new, experimental, and disturbed systems
- Ability to work variable shifts (i.e. scheduled and unscheduled overtime; weekends and holidays) to support mission requirements and workload
- Ability to pass an assessment during the training cycle
- Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements
- Active Security Clearance

- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
- Ability to obtain program access
- U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
- Ability to obtain an interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start
