Job Summary
Experienced Automotive Technician needed to perform a broad range of vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks, troubleshoot and resolve advanced mechanical problems, document services and repairs thoroughly, and explain recommended services to customers. The role requires staying current on industry advancements through training and certification programs, and collaborating with the service team to maintain a safe, organized shop. Ford certification is preferred though not mandatory; 3+ years of hands-on automotive technician experience and a valid driver’s license are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ford certification preferred, though not mandatory
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience as an automotive technician
- Comprehensive understanding of vehicle systems, mechanical functions, and components
- Strong troubleshooting abilities with solid problem-solving skills
- Comfortable using modern diagnostic tools and service equipment
- Effective communicator with a customer-focused approach
- Capable of working productively on your own in a high-volume environment
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving history
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods
