Job Summary
Diagnose and repair vehicles for guests across domestic and foreign makes while completing full, accurate courtesy inspections. Troubleshoot guest concerns quickly within a team environment to meet daily deadlines and deliver distinguished results. Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization while communicating vehicle concerns effectively between service departments. Seek solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what's right for guests. Build experience continuously across a wide range of vehicles. This role is part of Christian Brothers Automotive, a franchise network established in 1982 that provides precision auto repair with transparency and integrity, offering technicians consistent workloads, free training, and access to a private Technician Assistance Center.
Required Qualifications
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve guests
- 7+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- Ability to flag 50+ hours per week
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Meet or exceed hourly goals
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- A desire for long-term career development
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
Desired Qualifications
- ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve
