Job Summary
Diagnose and repair vehicles across domestic and foreign makes, completing full courtesy inspections and troubleshooting guest concerns within the service department. Collaborate with a team to solve complex problems, meet repair deadlines, and deliver distinguished results while maintaining high standards of safety and organization. Work with tools on lifted vehicles and navigate computer systems to efficiently handle repairs. Requires 7+ years of experience, ASE certifications preferred, and ability to flag 50+ hours weekly.
Required Qualifications
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve guests
- 7+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- Ability to flag 50+ hours per week
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Meet or exceed hourly goals
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- A desire for long-term career development
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
