Job Summary
Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Kia vehicles and other makes, accurately diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns. Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship and conducting multi-point inspections to recommend needed maintenance. Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding repair status and recommendations, ensuring all warranty repairs follow manufacturer guidelines. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following all dealership and manufacturer safety procedures. Stay current on Kia technical training and new vehicle technology to support efficient time management in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as an automotive technician
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Knowledge of electrical, engine, transmission, suspension, steering, and brake systems
- Ability to use diagnostic scan tools and service information systems
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to teamwork
- Ability to efficiently manage time in a fast-paced environment
