Job Summary
Perform skilled mechanical work by inspecting, replacing, and repairing defective parts while executing preventative maintenance on automobiles. Diagnose problems to ensure vehicles perform appropriately and provide high-quality service to customers. Continuously learn new technical information and techniques to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area while adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Requires valid driver's license, ability to operate vehicles, and willingness to work Saturdays.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years' automotive service, automotive mechanic, and/or engine diagnostic experience in a professional capacity
- Must have Technician Tools
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to operate and drive vehicles
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Top-notch customer service skills with a desire to build long term trust and relationships with our customers
- Willingness to work Saturdays
- Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, and bending
- At time, exerting 50 - 100 lbs of force occasionally and/or 10 - 25 lbs of force frequently and/or greater than 10 lbs of force constantly to move objects
- Requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials
