Job Summary
Perform accurate diagnosis on Land Rover vehicles across all systems — electrical, drivetrain, suspension, ADAS, and beyond — using JLR diagnostic platforms and OEM tools; execute line repairs to manufacturer specifications from routine maintenance to complex multi-system repairs; document findings, repair procedures, and parts used on every repair order with precision; communicate technical findings to service advisors to support accurate guest communication and repair authorization; collaborate with senior technicians on complex diagnostic cases; stay current on Land Rover technical service bulletins, software updates, and evolving repair procedures; maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation; perform test drives to validate diagnostic conclusions and confirm repair quality before vehicle return.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of technician experience in a franchised dealership or European aftermarket shop
- Strong diagnostic background
- Land Rover, Jaguar, or European brand experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency with JLR diagnostic tools (SDD, PATHFINDER, IDS) preferred
- ASE certifications a strong plus
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
