Job Summary
Diagnose and repair BMW vehicles across engine, transmission, brakes, electrical, suspension, and HVAC systems using OEM diagnostic platforms and procedures. Perform multi-point inspections, develop accurate repair plans, and execute repairs to manufacturer specifications with zero shortcuts. Complete repair orders efficiently, document all work and parts used, and conduct test drives to validate diagnostics and confirm repair quality. Stay current on technical service bulletins and software updates while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workstation. This role offers a flat-rate pay structure with an OTE of $50,000 to $150,000, progressive bonuses for factory certifications, and paid manufacturer training.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of dealership technician experience
- Strong diagnostic foundation
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Physically capable of performing the demands of the role -- lifting, bending, and standing throughout the shift
- A craftsmanship mindset -- you take pride in every repair that leaves your bay
Desired Qualifications
- luxury brand experience from any premium marque including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Lexus, Volvo, Land Rover, or similar
- ASE certifications
- BMW factory certifications
- Comfortable with dealer diagnostic platforms -- BMW ISTA, ISID, or equivalent luxury brand diagnostic experience
- Low comeback rate
