Job Summary
Diagnose and repair client and dealership vehicles while maintaining strict adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation. Discuss repairs with shop foremen or service advisors, communicate additional service requests, and provide labor time estimates. Monitor repair time, update service advisors regularly, and complete story or documentation for client repairs. Assist in mentoring technician trainees, attend company and factory training, and keep current with technical bulletins. Follow federal, state, and local regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal. This role offers a flag rate of $27–$47 based on experience and certifications. Fowler Automotive is a family-owned dealership providing medical, dental, vision, and 401K matching plans.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2-4 years related experience and/or training
- Valid Driver's License
- MVR acceptable to our Insurance Carrier
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
