Job Summary
Experienced Automotive Sales Consultant responsible for assisting customers who enter the dealership, answering questions, helping them select a vehicle, providing timely follow up, maintaining relationships with customers, explaining product performance, options and benefits, describing all optional equipment, determining vehicle needs by asking questions, delivering vehicles and ensuring customers understand operating features, warranties, paperwork, and service options; keeping abreast of inventory and features; introducing customers to service department personnel; and performing other duties as assigned. Requires 2+ years of Automotive Sales Experience, a high school diploma or GED, excellent customer service, organizational and negotiation skills, self-motivation, teamwork, and willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen; 18+ years of age; equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent
- 2+ years of Automotive Sales Experience
- Excellent customer service, organizational and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, goal orientated and enthusiastic presence in a team environment
- Prior proven customer-service or retail sales experience
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen in accordance with local law/regulations
- 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
